Board Marine Agency Ltd was founded in 1995 by Captain Doichin Doichev with the subject of maritime services – agency, brokerage and freight forwarding. The ambition was to become an independent ship management company offering a comprehensive range of high-quality marine services.

In the beginning the “working partners” established themselves on the international freight market as ship brokers and chartering agents, arranging a significant amount of transit cargo through Burgas, due to professionalism and loyalty in the process of chartering, agency and forwarding.

There was an objective need to hire ships on time charter and management, as well as to purchase own “tonnage” in order to extend the participation in the seaborne trade.

The company specialized itself in the ship owning and ship operation of 7 universal dry cargo vessels with trading area of so-called “European cabotage” – Azov, Black and Mediterranean seas, Atlantic Ocean – Western Europe and West Africa.

Nowadays, driven to exceed the expectations of our customers, we take the priorities of our customers as our very own by providing safe and cost-effective management of the ships working in partnership with our customers.

BMA was a member of BIMCO since 1997. as a “Broker”, and since 2002. as a “Shipowner”.

BMA was a founding member of the Bulgarian Association of Shipowners and Bulgarian Association of Ship Brokers and Agents.
